Samsung HMX10A Handycam

Forget all those mini DV tapes, DVDs and expensive HOD camcorders. Flash memory camcorders are here to edge everyone else out. Not only are they much smaller than their tape or disc-toting brethren, they also have fewer moving parts, which means lesser chances of failure. Samsung made this high def camcorder truly very stylish, with a1 OX optical zoom, 20X digi-zoom and a 1.56 MP sensor. 4 GB on board flash is where all the high def videos and photos get stored. 4GB is good enough for 41 minutes of 720p. If that's too less, there's also an expansion slot for additional memory. Even with a 850 mAh Li-ion battery it still manages to be light and managable. As the results of using flash memory, this camcorder uses less battery and hence allows you to record for many hours non-stop.

The important features are:
  • 4GB built-in memory.
  • Records in HD resolution of 1280*720 pixels
  • 2.7 inch viewable LCD screen.
  • Records in H.264 compression technology at 60fps.
