Sony HDR-CX11E Handycam

There are several digital photo cameras on the market with Smile Shutter – a functionality that allows you to capture the subjects only when they smile. On June 19 Sony launched the world’s first video camera with this cool feature, called HDR-CX11E, a full High Definition model with the capability to record on a removable storage media. More than that, Sony HDR-CX11E handycam comes also with the Face Detection technology, which working together with Smile Shutter, can adjust focus, exposure and colors, automatically.
The new Sony High Definition camera has a resolution of 10.2MP and allows you to capture 7.2MP pictures with people smiling and record videos, simultaneously. You can set it to recognize children, adults, or to capture large smiles or gentle ones.

ClearVid CMOS sensor with Exmor technology reduce the noise, enabling the High Definition, while recording sound with 5.1 surround technology with zoom microphone, all being stored on a Memory Stick PRO Duo media, until you occupy the 4GB or 16GB of space. This translates to 85 minutes on 4GB or 5 hours and 55 minutes on a 16GB. The battery life is of up to 7 hours.

Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens provide 12x optical zoom with Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, and the BIONZ processor with D-range Optimizer technology adjust features to achieve high details and maximized shadows. The images can be checked on the 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD Plus widescreen touch-panel featuring high brightness even in sunlight.
